Our Mission as a Coffee Shop

At SMPL, we are passionate about showcasing and sharing unique and high-quality Ukrainian roasters. Our mission is to introduce coffee lovers around the world to these exceptional beans—ones that can only be found here with us.

We believe in more than just coffee. Each roastery we work with embodies values that resonate deeply with us: a love for specialty coffee, a respect for nature, and a desire to make a difference in the world. They work directly with farms, ensuring fair wages and supporting communities while using sustainable practices to protect the environment. Every bean is carefully chosen for its quality and unique flavor. Through our space, we aim to connect people with these stories, flavors, and philosophies.

Vadim Zhuk

Head Barista

Vadim has spent 5 years in coffee, mastering everything from V60 to team training. As Chief Barista at SMPL COFFEE, he ensures high quality and smooth bar flow. Outside work, he’s into sewing, dancing, music— lives an active, creative life. For him, coffee is about the process, the people, and the challenge.

For the past two years, Kateryna has been immersed in specialty coffee. To her, it’s a culture of creativity and community, not just a drink. Outside coffee, She studies philosophy at Charles University and finds beauty in details—through painting, photography, and Japanese cuisine.
